Customs and Border Protection agents have reported that they were able to take down 37.4 lbs of methamphetamine on Tuesday, June 13 at the Camino Real International Bridge in Eagle Pass.

EAGLE PASS — On July 15, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Eagle Pass Port of Entry arrested two women attempting to smuggle three minor children from Mexico.

“This is an example of how our officers are always vigilant,” said Port Director John Brandt, Eagle Pass Port of Entry. “Our officers prevented three children from being exploited as human cargo in an alleged smuggling attempt.”
